Hi!
I found out about the Xaghra Scout group on the 21st September when I was on an expedition of President's Award with 6 of my friends.We had a break outside one of your scouts' house and as we were wearing matching T-shirts and carrying rucksacks he thought we were scouts and came out to talk to us. After spending a long time talking to him (recovering from climbing up the hill from Ramla), meeting his little brother Luca who is a beaver if I remember right and even his sister we left and it was only later that we realised we had never asked what his name was! If you are reading this, sorry! Feel free to email and thanks for not throwing us off your front porch! 
Anyway I was writing my log book of the expedition and I remembered the episode and thought I'd look the scout group up. Well done you have a great site, keep up the good work and all the activities!

We were very impressed by the smooth running and dedication of all those
who were at the Xaghra Summer Camp at Ramla.The Cubs were obviously

On behalf of the Ghajnsielem Local Council I would like to thank the Xaghra Scout Group for the voluntary works carried out last Sunday at our beach at Xatt l-Ahmar. Well done and thanks once again for all the works being carried out especially in the enviroment section to keeep our island clean.You are an example to others.

Dear Cubs, Scouts and Leaders
It was a pleasure being with you last Sunday, May 18, 2008 and assist at the Investiture Ceremony of new recruits to the Xaghra Group and to witness the re-opening of the Group.
From what I saw last Sunday I am sure that the Group has a long and bright future before it and I wish you all the best in your Scouting adventures and activities.
May the spirit of our Founder Lord Baden Powell be always with you and guide you through.

I am pleased to note that Xaghra once more has its own Scout Group. As an ex Xaghra Scout way back in the fifties I cannot but recommend parents to encourage their young sons to join this group. They have everything to gain and nothing to lose. The Scout Movement will instill in their young ones a great sense of discipline and will make them grow strong in character; their parents will reap the benefits of scouting. In today's world there is more scope for the Movement than ever before. Wish the Scoutmaster and his helpers all the best in their new venture.
